TORRANCE TEST
TORRANCE TEST
Torrance Test of Creative Thinking (TTCT) is a test of creativity,
originally involved simple test of divergent thinking and other problem-solving
skills, which were scored on four scales:
·
Fluency. The total number of interpretable, meaningful,
and relevant ideas generated in response to the stimulus.
·
Flexibility. The number of different categories of
relevant responses.
·
Originality. The statistical rarity of the responses.
·
Elaboration. The amount of detail in the responses.
Torrance grouped the different subsets of the Minnesota Tests of
Creative Thinking (MTCT) into three categories.
1.
Verbal tasks using verbal stimuli
2.
Verbal tasks using non-verbal stimuli
3.
Non-verbal tasks
During lab session, we use non-verbal tasks; incomplete figures task.
Our lecturer assigns us two different figures on Microsoft Word and we were
asked to complete sketching on the figure, not limit to certain figure. These
were two figures given by our lecturer:

And here are some of the results of our creativeness:
